On their first collaborative effort “Lick,” Shenseea and Megan Thee Stallion deliver honest but risqué lyrics about what they desire from their romantic partners over a bass-heavy backing track.

The song was officially announced via both artists' social media profiles two days before its release—but interestingly—the pair teased pictures of themselves back in October 2021 wearing what eventually turned out to be their outfits from the “Lick” music video; which implies the song had been in the works for some time before its release.
